Global Cuisines and Connections
(previously Classical Cuisine)
Thursdays, Takeout only, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Whether you have been a loyal customer of these dinners for many years or are new to what we offer, your support means everything to our program and its students. As we continue to evaluate and improve our program and how it prepares our graduates for the modern restaurant industry, we have realized that the world of culinary arts in this country has grown to reflect the vast diversity of culture and cuisine present in modern America. While the education we provide will always be rooted in classical European techniques and cuisine, it is imperative for our student’s success that they be exposed to techniques, ingredients, and contemporary-inspired dishes from far beyond the borders of Europe and the U.S. The Hospitality faculty have created a new class, “Global Cuisines and Connections”. This new class will allow us to celebrate the classical dishes we have come to know and love from Europe while allowing our students the opportunity to broaden their culinary horizons by looking to Asia, Africa, South America, and other areas for inspiration. We hope that you will come to love the new class as much as you have the old and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you again soon!
Adding to the meal are desserts prepared by Le Jeune Chef's professional pastry chefs and Baking and Pastry Arts students. A Classical Cuisine five-course dinner costs $20.
Fridays, Takeout only, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
