Sure, you’ll dig into core business principles in the classroom. But the real learning happens when you put those ideas to practice through lab exercises and collaborative assignments. This interactive program promotes problem solving, sharpens critical thinking, and prepares tomorrow’s leaders for the real world.
Want to focus on a specific area of business? Narrow your focus with an optional specialization in: Banking & Finance, Digital Marketing/Marketing, Healthcare Management, Management, or Sport & Event Management.

At Penn College, we believe your educational experience should go beyond specialized skills. Real-world ready means taking a broader approach that builds communication skills, inspires collaboration, and encourages exploration of arts, history, and science.
Specialization requires in-depth knowledge and high-level proficiency. Students learn and apply major-specific concepts, skills, and methods.
Perspectives are points of view, offering a variety of ways of understanding, interacting, and influencing the world. Students identify, explain, and utilize the approaches used by academics and professionals to study, analyze, or understand problems, and offer solutions.
Foundations are the practical, intellectual, and social skills: communication, collaboration, critical and ethical thinking, quantitative thinking, and technological literacy that are crucial to every student at every stage of education and at every stage of life.
This program allows, but does not require, students to select one of five specialization tracks described below.

We recognize you may have goals related to businesses and industries in which you are already involved or interested. This degree allows you to work with your faculty adviser to select coursework from a wide variety of electives that will focus on the skills and abilities you need.
A multi-use collaborative space, the Innovation Lab is a hub for creative problem solving and team building projects.
Study the ins and outs of finance. Investigate fraud and risk behavior with SAS software, and explore cyber security in our collaborative learning lab.

Students went behind-the-scenes with digital and mobile-marketing executives, received a ballpark tour and attended a panel talk in the Phillies Media Room, where employees answered questions about digital marketing and shared their career experiences and advice.
Sport & Event Management students put their lessons to work as they conceived, planned and managed an event that provided an opportunity for their peers to interact with regional employers. Billed as “Professional Coffee & Conversation,” the event featured a panel discussion by employers, who answered students’ questions about job interviews and resumes, communication in the workplace, the top qualities they’re looking for in employees, and more.
